The FBI is using a unconventional approach to catch a accused 'sexual predator' who may be hiding in South Texas.

The agency has placed Charles Alan Dyer's face on billboards all over Oklahoma, Texas and nine other states.

The 31-year-old Duncan, Oklahoma man was supposed to go on trial for raping a 7-year-old girl in Oklahoma City.

Dyer never appeared for trial and is now wanted by the FBI for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The Oklahoma man is known to have numerous weapons.

FBI officials said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators believe Dyer may be somewhere in South Texas.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call local police or their local FBI office or 1-800-CALL-FBI.
