Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office investigators said they've identify the victim of a homicide in what authorities are calling a botched home invasion.

Sheriff Lupe Treviño said 51-year-old Stanley Daih was killed during a shooting at a mobile home on Goolie Road north of Donna.

Investigators found nearly $14,000 dollars inside the mobile home, which they said was used to ship marijuana outside the Rio Grande Valley.

Daih's son was inside the mobile home at the time of the attack and survived.

Deputies said Daih was a resident alien from Jamaica.

No suspects have been identified and the investigation continues.
