Authorities are investigating an apparent police involved shooting in Brownsville.

Details are still coming in, but we have confirmed that shots have been fired on the 5900 block of Paso Real near Minnesota Road in Brownsville.

Information on why or how this happened are still unknown.

Police have confirmed at least one person was shot by police.

Action 4 News is on the scene and will have more when it becomes available.
