A man accused of robbing a bank in downtown Brownsville about two weeks ago is back in the Rio Grande Valley after being extradited from Missouri.
Investigators told Action 4 News that Eric Gabriel Morales was extradited back to Brownsville late Friday night.
Morales is being held at the Cameron County Jail after allegedly confessed to robbing the First National Bank back on June 3rd.
Investigators say he showed the teller a gun, demanded money and made off with about $1,900 dollars in cash.
Morales took off and eluded police for several days until a call to the Crime Stoppers Line revealed he was headed to Iowa.
U.S. Marshals arrested Morales last Wednesday at a bus station in Kansas City, Missouri.
