Hanna High School students were evacuated Friday morning after the school received a bomb threat.

The Brownsville Police Bomp Squad and a bomb sniffing dog are on scene.

According to BISD spokersperson Drue Brown school administrators received a call from a parent about a Facebook posting regarding a bomb threat.

The Senior students at an assembly in the school gym were immediately evacuated, as were the other students at the school.

Brown said all student backpacks are being inspected, and added that BISD Police has identified two persons of interest who are students at the high school.

An Action 4 News crew is on scene. We will post more details as they become available.
