Two people killed in fiery wreck in Los Fresnos

Two people died in fiery two-car accident in Los Fresnos on Friday afternoon.

Brownsville police responded to the wreck on Highway 100 between California Road and FM 803 at around 4 p.m. Friday.

They immediately shut down Highway 100 in both directions and diverted traffic through alternate routes.

Brownsville Police Department spokesman Eddie Garcia said a Conn’s delivery truck collided with a small car.

The car went up in flames, killing two people inside.

Their bodies are still inside the car, police said there may be another body inside  but they have not confirmed it.
