A woman is behind bars for a fatal stabbing in downtown Pharr while authorities search for her brother, who is also a suspect in the case.
It all started as a verbal argument in the parking lot of an insurance company at 115 S. Cage Blvd around 12:07 a.m. Wednesday.
Pharr police told Action 4 News that 39-year-old Roel Rocha died after being stabbed.
Officers responded to the scene quickly and arrested suspect Candie Reyna while she was fleeing the scene in a gold vehicle.
Investigators said she is charged with murder and expected to be arraigned at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Police are looking for her 29-year-old brother Alberto Reyna, who is also a suspect in the case.
Investigators said Alberto Reyna is from Brownsville but now lives in Pharr and is to be considered armed and dangerous.
Rocha did not appear to know either Candie or Alberto Reyna.
Court records show that Candie did not appear to have a prior criminal record while Alberto had previous arrests for assault family violence and DWI.
Anyone with information about Alberto Reyna's whereabouts is asked to call Pharr Crime Stoppers at (956) 784-TIPS or (956) 784-8477.
