Mexican media outlets are reporting that two of the 59 bodies found in eight mass graves in San Fernando, Tamaulipas.
Mexico's El Universal newspaper reported that two bodies have been identified as missing San Fernando residents.
The identities of the bodies has not been released but forensic exams and DNA testing continue.
El Universal reported that some of the victims were killed by brutal hits while most of them had bullet wounds.
The newspaper reported that family members of missing people from throughout Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi and Veracruz are flocking to investigators.
Many of missing people were abucuted from passenger buses passing through San Fernando back in March.
The Tamaulipas Attorney General's Office (PGJE) in Ciudad Victoria told Action 4 News they could not confirm reports that bodies had been identified.
A spokesman said there no major developments in the case today.
