Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano was added to the line-up of federal officials expected to speak the funeral services for slain ICE Agent Jaime Zapata on Tuesday.

Immigration and Customs Enformcent (ICE) announced early Monday that Napolitano will be delivering remarks during the services in Brownsville.

Earlier, ICE confirmed that its director, John Morton, would also be speaking, as would U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

Zapata was killed in the line of duty south of the border in San Luis Potosi on Tuesday.

A second agent, Victor Avila, has been released from the hospital but is still recovering after being wounded in the same attack.

Zapata's body arrived in Brownsville on Friday afternoon and will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

Brownsville city officials have authorizied the use of the Brownsville Events Center for use in two events open to the public on both Monday and Tuesday.

A procession for Zapata was held on Sunday afternoon from the Buena Vista Funeral Home to the Brownsville Events Center.
