The Rio Grande Valley has a new pecking order. Action 4 News crunched the numbers from the recently-released 2010 Census. The Top 10 cities for the Valley has now changed. The biggest change came for the City of Harlingen, which fell from third place to sixth place. Although Harlingen grew by 12.5 percent, three cities in Hidalgo County each grew by more than 50 percent. But the battle for the number three spot will likely continue -- only 42 people separate #3 Edinburg from #4 Mission. With a 67.8 percent increase in population, Mission had the greatest percentage increase of any city in the Top 10. Brownsville remains the largest city in the Valley while McAllen keeps the #2 spot.
