A canopy collapsed and damaged a Coca Cola truck in Rio Grande City.

Authorities said the high wind gusts caused the canopy to uproot and collapse on the 18-wheeler.

The driver pulled into an abandoned Circle 7 just before noontime on Main Road near San Antonio.

The driver told police the canopy suddenly came crashing down.

Crews were dispatched out to free the Coca Cola truck from the debris.

The driver was not injured.

The rig sustained minor damages.
