Harlingen family suffers without electrify in their home.

Sandra Steele and her husband had been without power since late Thursday night.

"We're just in a mess right now", said Sandra Steele.

The Steele's along with several neighbors were in the dark, dealing with no electricity.

"There are four of us here that are elderly people and we shouldn't be going without heat", said Steele.

Unfortunately the Steele's entire home is electric.

"With the electric being out we have nothing", said Steele.

The Steele's couldn’t cook a meal and they were also worried about the food in their refrigerator.

Sandra tells Action 4 News, "I'm probably going to lose all the food anyway".

Despite everything, most importantly Sandra is worried about her and her husband's health.

"I'm worried about him because he had a lung problem", said Steele.

Thursday night was rough, with no heat the Steele's had to bundle up with extra blankets.

"I went to bed with my pants on and a flannel shirt", said Steele.

"I'm all upset because I'm very cold, I'd like to be in my house with the heat going", said Steele.

Luckily Friday night the Steele's did get their electricity back on.
