Harlingen home invasion investigation leads to arrests

Several people are behind bars after being connected to a group responsible for an armed home invasion in Harlingen.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Felipe Hernan Perla,Juan Antonio Rendon,Jose Guadalupe Castillo in connection with the case.

Harlingen police told Action 4 News that the robbery happened on the 1300 block of South D Street back on January 10th.

Three men with guns and shotgun entered a home demanding money and beat two men with their weapons when they didn't have any.

The alleged victims had to be taken to a hospital while the three suspects took off with two televisions and some jewelry.

Detectives told Action 4 News that they were able to identify the suspects and track them down over the weekend.

A search of a home off the 4200 block of Wilson Road in connection to the case yielded marijuana and five types of different

Police said Rendon and his wife Inocencia Sanchez were also linked to a stolen car.

All four of them were charged on crimes ranging from burglary to organized crime to marijuana to possession of a controlled substance to theft.
