Mexican authorities seized large amounts of marijuana, cocaine and heroin from an 18-wheeler headed into the United States.

Mexico's Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) reported that the seizure happened at the Veterans International Bridge on Thursday.

Officials from customs, army and navy found bundles of marijuana, cocaine and heroin inside an 18-wheeler that was searched at the bridge.

SEDENA officials reported that the 18-wheeler had 84.9 pounds of heroin, 366.2 pounds of cocaine and 526.2 pounds of marijuana inside.

The drugs, 18-wheeler and the truck driver were turned over to federal prosecutors for further investigation.
