Latest local news, weather, high school sports in the Rio Grande Valley

The Cameron County Auditor's Office is holding an auction to get rid of some surplus vehicles.

According to officials, some of the vehicles are in good working condition while others need work.

A small amount of office equipment is also for  sale.

The auction runs through January 28th and features about a hundred items.

The money raised will go back to the county's general fund.
