For most students, Christmas and New Years break is a time to relax.
But for twelve college students in Nacodoches Texas, they are giving that luxury up to help those still in need two years after Hurricane Dolly.
Tom Teekell with Wesley Foundations in Nacadoches says "the conditions have been slowly getting worse and worse because the repairs have been put off".
Teekell says they chose the Valley because after seeing how much support Galveston received from Hurricane Rita, he felt, Dolly victims were short ended.
Each home is costing the group around $15,00 to fix.
But for these volunteers, who are staying at a local church and sleeping on the floor, its all an effort so that Dolly victims won't have to.
