Two brothers are behind bars after Brownsville police raided a drug stash house in a new neighborhood on the city's northside.
Brownsville police arrested 43-year-old Alejandro Martinez and his 41-year-old brother Roberto Jimenez on multiple charges on Wednesday afternoon.
The Brownsville Police Department's Special Investigations Unit raided a home at 1621 Res Street around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators found five bundles with 12 pounds of methamphetamines and four bundles with 10 pounds of cocaine inside the home.
Authorities seized three cars and $10,000 dollars in cash.
Police then went to a warehouse on the 3500 block of East 14th Street where officers found cardboard boxes filled with 154 pounds of marijuana.
Authorities charged the two brothers with various drug charges.
Roberto Jimenez remains in custody for the marijuana under $150,000 dollars in bonds.
Alejandro Jimenez is jailed for the drugs at the Res Street home under $450,000 dollars in bonds.
