Cell phone store robbed near Brownsville's Hanna High School

Authorities are looking for man who robbed a cell phone store near Hanna High School in Brownsville.

Brownsville police told Action 4 News that robbery took place at the Boost Mobile Store off South Price Road around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Investigators said a man walked into the store, displayed a knife and pushed the clerk out of the way.

No injuries were reported but the alleged robber made off with money he took from the cash register.

The man was last seen running behind a nearby Subway restaurant.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspect.

The man is described as a Hispanic male, mid 30s, dark eye color, dark hair, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds.

Police said he was unshaven and last seen wearing a dark-colored sweater, blue baggy jeans and a baseball cap.
