Makeup can be an important part of your appearance, at least for many women.
Nathaly Muller, Dare 2 Be Glamorousm says, "I think a lot of women are always looking for ways to improve themselves. If someone has problems with their skin, and they want to cover up something, makeup is the perfect partner."
This is Nathaly Muller, a professional makeup consultant. She continuously experiments with new make-up, both inexpensive and expensive. And she's learned something: costly isn't always best.
Some examples: Nathaly says you can often times find a perfectly good foundation for around ten bucks here at a discount drug store. Where the same stuff might cost 40 at a department store.
Muller says, "This Chanel foundation, love it, 45 dollars. This Maybelline here at Walgreens, for $10.50. Covers great"
The same logic applies with things like moisturizers and lipsticks. Now, Nathaly says while cheaper is often just as good, there are situations where you get what you pay for - where it makes sense to pay more.
"When you have a skin-care problem for example. Someone with acne or severe discoloration", says Muller.
Bottom line? anytime you're buying something with a huge mark-up - like make-up - you can often find easy savings. So if you're looking for a budget make-over, this may be a good place to start.
