With Christmas just four days away, it's one of the busiest shipping times of the year.

Rio Grande Valley residents packed post offices and the rush to ship holiday packages doesn't look like it's going to slow down anytime soon.

Supervisor Juan Milian spokes with Action 4 News offering some advice.

He said the deadline for Christmas express mail is on Wednesday.

Valley post offices will be open through 7 p.m. Thursday and will close at 4 p.m. Friday, which is also Christmas Eve.
