Homeless man found sleeping along highway north of Weslaco

A homeless man sleeping along the highway north of Weslaco caused quite a stir.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies received a report that a body was found along the road off FM 88 and Mile 12 North around 11 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies arrived at the scene and learned it was a homeless man who had been asleep.

The homeless man's identity was not immediately available but he is reported to be in good condition.
