Two men caught driving stolen cars at Pharr International Bridge

Two Reynosa men are behind bars after they allegedly tried to drive stolen cars into Mexico at the Pharr International Bridge.

Pharr police told Action 4 News that officers stopped the men during an outbound inspection at 7:09 a.m. Tuesday.

Both 36-year-old Ricardo Perez and 26-year-old Benito Martinez were driving cars that had been reported as stolen in San Juan.

Investigators said both Perez and Martinez are Reynosa residents.

Both men are being held on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charges and are expected to face a Pharr municipal judge at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
