Two Brownsville men arrested for selling cocaine

Two men were arrested on Saturday for allegedly selling cocaine out of their Brownsville home.

Following a Crime Stoppers tips, Brownsville Police arrested Eliazar Villarreal, 50, and Marco Antonio Lopez, 28.

Officers set up surveillance outside their home on the 2700 block of Cottage Dr, near the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport.

After witnessing the men sell cocaine, they were arrested.

Inside the home, police found 7.3 pounds of cocaine, as well as $25,000 in cash.

Villareal and Lopez were arraigned Sunday; their bond was set at $50,000 each.
