One of the Torres-Jimenez children is sick after having to bare the cold in a small trailer with only a small space heater to keep warm.
Her mother Maria Estela said she took her to the doctor and the girl is getting better with medication.
The other children are well, including the baby girl.
Maria Estela said she kept her in the warmest room in the home when the cold front passed through, but she said it was tough to have to bare the cold with only blankets and a small space heater.
The family said they are glad Monday was a warm day.
They spent the day putting up a small Christmas tree, and when the next cold front hits, they said they'll turn the heater back on and bundle up with blankets.
