Cameron County District Attorney Armando Villalobos said the recount in the Cameron County Judge race will more than likely end up in court.

Villalobos held a press conference about the recount on Wednesday afternoon.

The district attorney said case will likely end up in court because losing side is expected to file a challenge.

Both sides in the race are claiming while Cameron County Elections Administrator Roger Ortiz has remained silent.

Republican incumbent Carlos Cascos was reported of the winner on Election Night and the recount.

But Wood's camp later claimed ballots from a precinct at the Brownsville Country Club weren't counted due to a missing tally sheet.
