It was a dramatic start to the day for people living in one Harlingen apartment complex.

Firefighters responded to an apartment fire on the city's northside around 2:00 this morning.

The complex is located at Seventh Street near Rio Hondo Road.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters said they contained the fire to just one apartment, and had it under control within 30 minutes.

They said no one was in the apartment, and it appeared to have started in the bedroom.

Firefighters are waiting for daylight to begin investigating the fire's cause.
