Six McAllen Parks & Recreation Department employees are recovering after being involved in a head on collision near Driscoll.
The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The six were reportedly on their way to a conference in Portland, just north of Corpus Christi.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers said a red Saturn swerved into oncoming traffic on Highway 77 at FM 665.
The Saturn hit a City of McAllen van carrying the six employees.
All six employees sustained minor injuries and were released from the hospital shortly after midnight.
But one of the six employees was called back on Thursday morning for an additional CAT Scan.
Neither the identities of the employees nor of the driver of the Saturn have been released but investigators said the driver of the Saturn was from Alice.
Investigators said the Saturn driver was also hospitalized and will be cited for causing the accident.
Police are still investigating to find out if alcohol was involved.
