John Wood concedes defeat in Cameron County Judge race

The battle for Cameron County Judge was one of the closest races in the Valley.

After a long night, challenger John Wood was defeated by less than 100 votes.

John Wood says he is thankful for all of those who helped in this election and is happy with the way he ran his campaign.

Come January, Wood says he will probably go back into real estate, but will stay active in the community.
