FAA in Port Mansfield to investigate plane crash

The Federal Aviation Administration will be at Port Mansfield Saturday to investigate a plane crash that took place Friday evening.

The plane went down in the El Sauz Ranch in eastern Willacy County.

No major injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

This is the second private plane crash in the Port Mansfield area in one year's time.

Two men were killed when a plane went down in Laguna Madre in December 2009.

Action 4 News will have more information about the FAA's investigation into the new crash as it becomes available.
