Authorities are looking for a group of armed men in Starr County after they allegedly shot at a murder suspect's home.

Starr County Sheriff's Department deputies said an unknown number of men went to a house belonging to murder suspect Juan Jose Arellano on Friday.

The gunmen allegedly emptied about 20 rounds into the family's Rio Grande City home while they were inside.

Deputies said nobody inside the home was injured.

Investigators believe the shooting was in retaliation for Arellano confessing to the murder of reputed drug dealer Jose Luis Diaz.

Deputies said another man identifed as Alfonso Palcios was also shot and seriously injured during the same incident as Diaz.
