A Harlingen karate instructor is back behind bars after facing a judge during a Wednesday afternoon hearing.

USA Knights Karate Studio owner Carlos Anderson appeared before an arraignment in the 107th State District Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Anderson pleaded not guilty to sexually abusing three underage, female students.

A Cameron County grand jury indicted Anderson back in June on indecency with a child, aggravated sexual assault of a child and sexual assault of a child charges.

Anderson turned himself in and was later freed on bond.

Judge Ben Euresti issued Anderson a $100,000 dollar bond but under the conditions that he have no contact with underage children and does not use MySpace to contact underage children.

Anderson remained behind bars at the Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center as of 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities said he will remain there until he can post bond.
