Indcited Rio Grande Valley lawmaker Ismael 'Kino' Flores is headed back to court in Austin next week.
Flores appeared in the 331st State District Court in Austin earlier this week for a pre-trial hearing.
The Mission-based lawmaker faces six indictments accusing him of failing to report about $850,000 dollars worth of income over a six-year period.
The indictments cite properties Flores owned-- along with plane flights that were gifted but never disclosed on his state financial disclosure forms.
Flores' attorney maintains flores did nothing wrong.
The Mission lawmaker decided not to run for re-election.
Democrat Sergio Muñoz won the party primary earlier this year and is expected to slide into the District 36 seat in November.
