Senate expected to vote on extending unemployment benefits

The U.S. Senate is expected to vote on a bill that would extend unemployment benefits for more than 2 million Americans.

On Tuesday, lawmakers voted 60 to 40 to end a Republican filibuster that had previously blocked the measure.

Democrats support extending unemployment.
