A Los Fresnos man remains behind bars after being accused of sharing child pornography through an on-line peer-to-peer network.

FBI agents arrested Mark William Woerner on child pornography charges earlier this week.

Court records show that Woerner's allegedlactivities were first discovered by an undercover police officer in Wheaton, Illinois back in April.

Authorities allege that he had been using the screen name "sugardaddylv" and sharing child pornography through an on-line peer-to-peer network.

Court records show that an undercover FBI agent downloaded 190 files from among the 2,324 files in Woerner's "share" folder and discovered the majority were child porn.

Investigators allegedly traced Woerner's IP address to his Los Fresnos home where authorities executed a search warrant on Friday, July 9th.

Court records show that Warner had at least 96 images of child pornography on his computer.

The Los Fresnos man appeared before U.S. Magistrate Court Judge Ronald Morgan in Brownsville on Thursday morning.

Woerner's citizenship, age, occupation and criminal history were not immediately available but public records show he lived at 103 Ash Street in Los Fresnos.

Judge Morgan denied bond for Woerner until a Tuesday afternoon hearing.
