A statewide search is on for a Rio Hondo man who made the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders List.
DPS officials reported that Reynaldo Torres Alvarado was added to the list on Wednesday afternoon.
The 48-year-old man was convicted for molesting two girls back in 1994.
Authorities told Action 4 News that he’s now wanted on a long list of charges:
- Failure to Register as a Sex Offender
- Indecency with a Child by Contact
- Carrying a Prohibited Weapon (Two Counts)
Alvarado was last reported to be in the Rio Hondo area.
Authorities said should be considered to be armed and dangerous.
Alvarado is described as:
- Height: 5 feet 8 inches
- Weight: 180 pounds
- Hair: Black
- Eyes: Brown
- Tattoo on chest. Scars on left arm. Missing right finger
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to 9-1-1.
