Brownsville PD Phones Down

Members of the Action 4 News team worked together to bring you this report.

The Brownsville Police Department sent out an alert Wednesday morning after a portion of their phone system failed.

The 911 system was fully functional, but the regular phone lines were in need of repair. Crews quickly resolved the issue within an hour. The phones were reported back up and running by 12:30pm Wednesday.
