McAllen police are waiting to issue a warrant in the shooting death of a mother Sunday night.

Police say it happened around six p.m. on the 3000 Block of Teresa Avenue in the Balboa Acres neighborhood of McAllen.

The 46-year-old woman was reportedly shot and killed.

Police say her teen daughter was also shot but survived.

Police say they have a suspect and hope to issue an arrest warrant later today.
