Harlingen Police called off an Amber Alert early Saturday morning after the girl was found at Harlingen Lake.

On May 10th, 12-year-old Estrella Rodriguez was seen leaving with 34-year-old Ernesto Galvan.

Estrella's mother contacted Harlingen Police to report her missing.

According to Lt. Myriam Anderson, shortly after police issued an Amber Alert for the 12 year old on Friday night, they began receiving many tips.

At about 1 a.m., just three hours after the alert was issued, one of those tips led police to the Harlingen Lake on 76 Drive where they found Estrella.

Lt. Anderson told Action 4 News they believe Estrella had been dropped off at that location.

The girl was reunited with her family shortly after she was found.

Police are still looking for Galvan, he is considered a person of interest and would like to speak to him about the disappearance.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Harlingen Police at (956) 425-8477.
