Edinburg firefighters are on the scene of a tanker rollover in the rural community of San Manuel.
Authorities said the tanker was the only vehicle involved in the accident and that the victim was taken to McAllen Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Firefighters told Action 4 News that salt water and diesel spilled out of the tanker trucks.
Crews are the scene to clean up the spilled fuel and salt water.
FM 490 between U.S. Highway 281 and Brushline Road is now blocked off and will remain blocked off till noon.
Drivers will need to find a different route.
