Lockdown lifted at two McAllen elementary schools

A lockdown has been lifted at two elementary schools in northwest McAllen.

McAllen Independent School District officials placed Seguin and McAuliffe Elementary Schools under lockdown on Wednesday morning.

Police told Action 4 News that authorities were searching for an aggravated assault suspect.

School district officials lifted the lockdown around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
