Three men are facing murder charges for their role in a chase that ended with the death of an innocent bystander.
The McAllen Monitor reported the men’s arrest following a Wednesday evening accident off Tenth Street and Business 83.
The newspaper reported that two cars were chasing each other and even exchanging gunfire.
The Monitor reported that the chased ended with a crash that killed with a Mission teacher and left her husband and 14-year-old daughter in critical condition.
Police told The Monitor they arrested two of the suspects in a traffic stop off North Street and Trenton Road.
Investigators told The Monitor that witnesses detained the third suspect when he allegedly tried to flee the scene of the accident.
