Authorities have released a forensic sketch of a man whose body was found south of Alamo last year.
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to investigate skeletal remains found near the corner of Pecina and Cesar Chavez Roads back in July 2009.
The remains were sent to a lab wound forensic pathologists were able to determine they belonged to a male 20 to 30 years who was 5 feet 8 inches.
Autopsy also confirms a bullet hole to the skull of the remains.
Deputies said there was no identification found on the remains or on clothing found at the scene.
The skull was delivered to forensic artist Louis Gibson in Houston for a reconstruction of facial features.
Deputies released a composite sketch of what forensic experts believe the man’s face may have looked like.
