Deputies: Los Indios man stabbed grandfather in the neck

A Los indios man behind bars after allegedly stabbing his grandfather in the neck.

Cameron County Sheriff's Department Deputies arrested Juan Salvador Hernandez on aggravated assault charges early Friday morning.

Deputies said the 18-year-old was upset when asked to leave a relative's home shortly after 1 a.m. Friday.

A domestic disturbance ended with the grandfather being stabbed in the neck..

The elderly man was taken to a local hospital but later checked himself out.

Hernandez remains behind bars in the Cameron County Jail under $25,000 dollars in bonds.
