An elderly man underwent six hours of surgery and remains hospitalized following a hit-and-run accident in Santa Rosa.
The Santa Rosa Police Department is now asking for the public’s help in identifying the two women inside the suspect vehicle.
Officer Mary Hernandez told Action 4 News that the hit-and-run happened off Parker Road and Highway 107 around 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
Hernandez said a 1999 to 2004 Silver Pontiac Grand Am two-door car with two women inside was travelling north on Parker Road.

The car then fled the scene but left behind a driver-side rocker panel.
The car was last reported travelling in Primera near Wilson Road and FM 800.
Hernandez said the elderly man suffered a fractured pelvis and underwent six hours of surgery.
