Mississippi kidnapping suspect arrested in Valley

A woman wanted in a kidnapping case in Mississippi is behind bars in the Rio Grande Valley.

Cameron County Jail records show that Jody Nicole Hamlet was booked under a kidnapping charge on Tuesday morning.

Action 4 News has learned that the kidnapping warrant came from the Union County Sheriff's Office in New Albany, Mississippi.

Details about the case or Hamlet's arrest were not immediately available.
