Edinburg police have a 19-year-old man and two juveniles in custody for a vandalism spree that ended with eight damaged school buses.

Investigators told Action 4 News that surveillance video helped identify the three criminal mischief suspects.

The three are accused of breaking into South Sugar Road facility owned by the South Texas Independent School District.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the three wrecked several schools over the weekend.

Edinburg police said the 19-year-old is charged with child endangerment and criminal mischief.

Police arrested a 13-year-old suspect and detained an 8-year-old boy.

Investigators said the 8-year-old boy cannot be charged because of his age.

The 19-year-old’s identity is expected to be released following his 3 p.m. arraignment.

Action 4 News will post more information as it becomes available.
