Pot smugglers caught at Brownsville Ship Channel

Six men are behind bars after they allegedly tried to smuggle 600 pounds of marijuana in the Brownsville Ship Channel.

Border Patrol agents spotted the men off State Highway 48 just north of the ship channel around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities found 600 pounds of marijuana all six men.

The case remains under investigation.
