Folks walking through Times Square felt like it was New Year's Eve today.

On Tuesday, New Year's Eve celebration organizers tested out confetti that will fill the skies after the ball drops.

About 3,000 pounds of it will shower millions of people that night.

The tiny bits of paper have special messages on them-- wishes from people all over the world.

Anyone can write their own wish and post it on the Confetti Wishing Wall in Times Square, or submit a wish online.

The confetti wishes have been a tradition for the past two years.
