Harlingen house fire under investigation

Authorities are trying to determine the cause of a fire at a home on Harlingen's westside.

Firefighters told Action 4 News that they repsonded to a house fire on the 600 block of South L Street around 8:03 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators said the fire started in the rear utility room of the house.

Firefighters told Action 4 News that four people were inside the house at the time of the fire.

All four people were able to evacuate the house before being harmed.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
