Feeling lucky? Lottery players may soon be able to purchase tickets for both the Mega Millions and Powerball lotteries at one location.
Currently Mega Millions is played in 12 states while Powerball is offered in 31 states plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
If approved, each lottery state will be able to cross-sell the "marquee game" not currently offered in that state.
No firm date has been set but it could happen by early next year.
